Ghostbusters: Get Real is an American comic book limited series of the science fiction, supernatural fantasy, and comedy genres. It is based on the 1984 film Ghostbusters as well as its various spin-offs. The series was produced by IDW Publishing and ran for four issues from June to September, 2015. The series was written by Erik Burnham with artwork by Dan Schoening and coloring by Luis Antonio Delgado. It was lettered by Neil Uyetake and edited by Tom Waltz. What happens when the Real Ghostbusters meet the ORIGINAL Ghostbusters? Crazy, right? Even the combined ingenuity of eight Ghostbusters might not be enough to stop the evil elder god Proteus from getting his revenge.

- Ghostbusters was created by writer and executive producer Harold Ramis along with screenwriter Dan Aykroyd. It was brought to life as a feature film in 1984 by director Ivan Reitman and spawned a sequel named Ghostbusters II in 1989, also directed by Reitman. A remake film, Ghostbusters: Answer the Call was released in 2016 and directed by Paul Feig. Another film installment, Ghostbusters: Afterlife which continues the original continuity, was released in 2021 and was helmed by Ivan Reitman's son, Jason Reitman. The Ghostbusters franchise has also spun-out several animated projects as well as comic book titles and merchandise.
