"Give Up the Ghost (Part 1)" is the title to the first issue of volume seven of the Ghost Rider ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The story was written by Rob Williams with artwork by Matthew Clark and inks by Sean Parsons. The standard cover illustration was composed by Adam Kubert with coloring by Justin Ponsor. The story was colored by Robert Schwager and lettered by Clayton Cowles. It was edited by Stephen Wacker with Sebastian Girner as assistant editor. This issue also includes a seven-page back-up tale called "Sacrifice" written by Rob Williams with artwork by Valerio Schiti. This issue shipped with a September, 2011 cover date and carries a cover price of $3.99 per copy (US).
This issue is reprinted in the Ghost Rider: Fear Itself trade paperback collection.
This issue shipped with three variant covers. One was illustrated by Arturo Lozzi. Another was illustrated by Neal Adams, and the third variant was blank with just a logo design.
This is the first appearance of Alejandra Jones, who is one of the main characters from this series.
