Ghost Rider relates to a family of comic book titles and characters published by Marvel Comics. The original Ghost Rider was a Western era hero named Carter Slade, who later became known as the Phantom Rider. The more popularly known figure to carry the mantle however is Johnny Blaze, who started out in his own try-out serial in Marvel Spotlight in issue #5 before branching out into his own eighty-one issue ongoing series. Johnny's successor was Danny Ketch, who dominated the industry in the 1990s with his popular Ghost Rider, Volume 3 title. After Danny's stint as the Ghost Rider, the next individual to take on the role was Robbie Reyes, a young Latino boy who was introduced in All-New Ghost Rider #1 in May, 2014.
