Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is that one Marvel Comics movie that everyone wishes they could forget. It is the second live-action feature film based on the character of Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider, and follows the 2007 film Ghost Rider. The movie was directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who smartly only credited themselves by their last names. The screenplay and story treatment was written by David S. Goyer as well as Scott M. Gimple and Seth Hoffman. It premiered in the United States on December 11th, 2011. The movie stars Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze with Violante Placido as Nadya, Ciaran Hinds as Roarke and Idris Elba as Moreau. Other stars of note include Anthony Stewart Head as Benedict and Christopher Lambert as Methodius.
