George Washington was an American soldier, statesman and politician. He was the first man appointed as the President of the United States. He was born in Westmoreland County in Virginia on February 11th, 1731. As a youth, he is best known for chopping down a cherry tree. This may be a tall tale, but let's face it, what the hell is there to do in Westmoreland County, Virginia in the 1730s. He is also known for never telling a lie, which in and of itself, is probably a lie, and for also having wooden teeth. Ahhh... the crap they teach us in grade school. Now what isn't a fabrication is the fact that George Washington was the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He went on to serve as President of the United States from 1789 until his death on December 14th, 1799.
