Overview[]
George Fox was a government agent and a member of the United States military. In the mid-1980s, Fox was part of a unit tasked with tracking down a rogue extraterrestrial being which came to be known as the Starman. Fox pursued the Starman from Wisconsin to Arizona, discovering that he had also taken a hostage named Jenny Hayden. Although he nearly captured him in several instances, the Starman was able to make his way to a landing site where others of his race picked him up and left Earth.
Some fifteen years later, Fox learned that the Starman had returned, only this time he had assumed an alternate clone form. He continued his relentless task of following him across the country, but now he had also developed an interest in the alien's son, Scott Hayden.
Biography[]
In one encounter, George Fox spoke with Paul Forrester (the Starman), who tried to discourage him from pursuing his son, indicating that children are the planet's best hope for the future. Fox disregarded this, feeling as if Scott was some form of mutation.
In his final encounter with the Starman, George Fox suffered a near-fatal heart attack. The Starman knew that allowing him to die would give him the opportunity to have a life with his son and former lover, Jenny Hayden, but the Starman's morals would not allow Fox to die. [1]
