Biography[]
George was the proprietor, and possibly owner of the Downgintown Diner in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. A middle-aged man of Italian descent, he was present the day that an amorphous space-borne blob attacked the town. Locals Steve Andrews and Jane Martin sought refuge in the diner and the three of them, along with waitress Sally, protected themselves by going into the cellar as the blob overtook the establishment. It was here that Steve learned that the creature was vulnerable to intense cold and used a CO-2 extinguisher to drive it back enough that they were all able to escape through the cellar windows.
