30 Days of Night[]
George was a speed freak living in New Orleans, Louisiana in the early 2000s. He was aware of the existence of vampires and became an associate of an occultist named Judith Ali. They both sought to unearth clear evidence of the creatures' existence so they could expose them to the world. Judith had George monitor all forms of electronic communication for any clues. He picked up an encrypted signal that was sent by a master vampire named Vicente to his underling, Marlow Roderick, which outlined a planned raid on the isolated Alaskan town of Barrow. Sometime after the Barrow incident, George found a book published by Stella Olemaun - the sole survivor of the Barrow massacre. This brought George into conflict with a vampire F.B.I. agent named Norris, as well as an ancient vampire elder named Lilith. George and Stella traveled to Barrow, which underwent a second wave of vampire attacks. During this affair, George was shot and killed by Marcus Kitka.
The Blob[]
George was the proprietor, and possibly owner of the Downgintown Diner in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. A middle-aged man of Italian descent, he was present the day that an amorphous space-borne blob attacked the town. Locals Steve Andrews and Jane Martin sought refuge in the diner and the three of them, along with waitress Sally, protected themselves by going into the cellar as the blob overtook the establishment. It was here that Steve learned that the creature was vulnerable to intense cold and used a CO-2 extinguisher to drive it back enough that they were all able to escape through the cellar windows. (Blob, The)
