Geokinesis is a super-power, which represents the ability to manipulate the composition of the very Earth itself, as well as any mineral deposits contained therein. Individuals who have geokinesis can telekinetically summon, sculpt command varying volumes of Earth, shaping them to their will. They cannot create volumes of matter however, but can only manipulate whatever material is present within the range of their power. Geokinetics can cause fissures in the ground, cause volcanos to erupt, create columns of rock and even move free floating volumes of rock for use as projectile weapons.

In DC Comics continuity, the Markovian superhero Brion Markov, aka Geo-Force has this ability, as did his late sister, Terra.

In Marvel Comics continuity, this was one of the cosmic-spawned powers afforded to Terrax the Tamer during the time that he served as herald to Galactus.

On the NBC television series Heroes, the character of Samuel Sullivan possessed this ability. He used it to trap Claire Bennet and her father Noah inside of a trailer, which he sank beneath the ground and sealed over.
