Geezum is a fictional alien featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. Played by actor Peter Allen, he had a very minor role in the 1983 film Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Biography[]
Geezum was a member of the Snivvian species and a scout. Born and raised on Tatooine, he came to work for Jabba the Hutt's criminal empire. In 4 ABY, Geezum was one of many such underlings who traveled aboard Jabba's sail barge, the Khetanna, to witness the execution of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Chewbacca at the Great Pit of Carkoon. He was seen sharing a drink and conversation with an Ugnaught named Yoxgit. Geezum died when Leia Organa commandeered the blaster cannon from the barge and fired it into the deck, causing the ship to explode.

- The character of Geezum was created by franchise developer George Lucas, director Richard Marquand and writer Lawrence Kasdan.
- Geezum is but one of many nameless background characters to appear in Return of the Jedi. His name was provided on his own card in the Star Wars Customizable Card Game: Jabba's Palace Limited expansion pack.
- Geezum was optioned as a potential Hasbro action figure per a reader's poll called "The Last Page" featured in Star Wars Insider #48.
- A picture of Geezum is included in the "Tatooine Manhunt" roleplaying game adventure published by West End Games in June, 1988.
- Geezum is the third Snivvian to appear in the original Star Wars trilogy. The others are Zutton and Takeel - both of whom made brief appearances in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. A female Snivvian, Rachalt Hyst (aka, Zutmore), appeared in 1978's The Star Wars Holiday Special.
