Geatar is a fictional alien space pirate and a minor character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in The Silver Surfer, Volume 3 #38 in June, 1990.
Biography[]
Geatar was a well-built adult member of the Pyraxlon race. He operated as a space pirate and was a member of a crew led by Nebula, who was also his lover. Nebula's father, the Mad Titan known as Thanos, surgically altered Geatar's appearance to make him resemble Thanos. Thanos' nemesis, the Silver Surfer engaged in combat with the restructured Geatar, believing him to be Thanos, and killed him.
Titan scientist Mentor used the technology at his disposal to revive Geatar. He later reunited with Nebula and helped her to escape captivity.
