Galaxy Communications was a multinational media conglomerate, whose corporate headquarters was located in the city of Metropolis and was known as the WGBS building. It was run by a stern and amoral man named Morgan Edge. Galaxy Communications acquired the Daily Planet, and incorporated it into its media wing of the company. Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Lana Lang all worked as television news broadcasters for the company over the span of their careers.
