"The Super Scouts" is the fourth episode of the science fiction/action series Galactica 1980. The show is a spin-off an a continuation of the 1978 TV program, Battlestar Galactica. It was directed by Sidney Hayers with a script written by franchise creator Glen A. Larson. It first aired on ABC on Sunday, March 16th, 1980 at 7:00 pm EST. As the tile impies, the crew of the Galactica finally find the planet Earth, but rather than enlist the planet's aid in their ongoing war against the Cylons, it is decided that they must instead protect the planet from potential alien threat.
