"The Firefly" is the tenth episode of season three of the science fiction television series Fringe, and the fifty-third episode of the series overall. It was directed by Charles Beeson with a screenplay written by J.H. Wyman and Jeff Pinkner. It first aired on the FOX Network on Friday, January 21st, 2011 at 9:00 pm. In addition to the main cast, this episode also includes guest appearances by Michael Cerveris as September, and Christopher Lloyd as Roscoe Joyce.
