The Freestanding subsectors is a fictional sector of space featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. It is considered part of the canon continuity and was first seen in the 2016 feature film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It was also referenced in the Rogue One novelization as well as the Star Wars: Galactic Atlas reference book, published by Edgmont UK, Ltd. in November, 2016.

The Freestanding subsectors is a designated sector of space that includes part of the Mid Rim territories. The moon of Jedha, which contains the Holy City of NiJedha is located in this sector.
