- "I actually felt sorry for you. What Freddy did to you. What those sadistic kids and irresponsible camp counselors did to you. But you just keep killing! You just keep taking and taking and taking! When will it be enough, Jason?! When will it be enough, you son of a bitch?!"
- ―Lori Campbell

Synopsis[]
Five years after their epic confrontation with Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, massacre survivors Lori Campbell and Will Rollins return to Camp Crystal Lake. Both are haunted by memories of the past and come seeking closure; closure they do in fact find, but not the type that they were seeking. After rummaging through some of the campground cabins, they are attacked by Jason Voorhees. Voorhees eviscerates Will and strings him up in a barn for Lori to find. After Lori discovers the ruin of his body, she grabs a circular saw to defend herself against Jason. This does little good however, as Jason slices his machete through her shoulder, and then gives her a second shot to the face, finishing her off.
After satisfying his need to kill, Jason wanders back off through the woods to rest. He dreams of his mother, Pamela Voorhees, who he finds lying naked in bed with his new nemesis - Freddy Krueger. The dream version of Pamela tries to manipulate Jason into following her commands (at Freddy's encouragement).
Meanwhile, the S-Mart franchise has just opened a new Supercenter in Crystal Lake Township. Several of the seasonal staff goof around, playing with merchandise and making obscene gestures with candy canes. An employee dressed up as Santa Claus named Raoul masturbates a large candy cane in front of co-worker Caroline, who breaks it in half. The S-Mart manager corals everyone together and admonishes them for wasting product. He then informs them that a Housewares specialist from the Detroit outlet is on his way to Crystal Lake to help manage the busy Christmas season.
That "specialist" turns out to be none other than Ash Williams - survivor of several encounters with legions of evil spirits known as Deadites. Driving his trusty 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88, Ash roles into town. Little does he realize that he will soon be squaring off against forces that would give even the Deadites a run for their money.
