Freak Force is a fictional super-hero featured in comic books published by Image Comics. They were the creations of writer and artist Erik Larsen and were associated with Larsen's Savage Dragon line of titles. Like the Savage Dragon himself, many of this characters were first conceptualized when Larsen was an adolescent. The first appeared in Savage Dragon, Volume 2 #4 in September, 1993. The team received their own Freak Force ongoing series in December, 1993, which ran for 18 issues until July, 1995.
