Frankenhooker is an independent feature film of the horror and comedy genres, satirizing the Frankenstein story. It was written and directed by Frank Henenlotter with a script co-written by Robert Martin. It was produced by Shapiro-Glickenhaus Entertainment and premiered at the Houston Film Festival in April, 1990. It was released direct-to-video by Anthem Pictures on June 1st, 1990.
