Overview[]
Frank was an evolved ape of the gorilla species. He lived in Modern City, California in the early 1990s. Like all apes, Frank was an indentured servant and worked as a waiter. He had a brief encounter with Caesar, who was an intelligent talking ape. The two exchanged glances with one another, and Frank grunted at him. Caesar hissed at him in reply. Frank was present on the "Night of the Fires", which is the historic event in which Caesar led a revolution against his human oppressors. It is unknown whether Frank survived this incident, but if he did, he likely became one of the gorilla soldiers living out of Ape City under the leadership of Caesar years later.
