"Tarzan and the Fires of Tohr" is the title to the first story featured in the 161st issue of the comic book anthology series Four Color, published by Dell Comics. The second tale in this issue is an eighteen-page feature titled "Tarzan and the Black Panther", but of which feature the jungle adventure hero known as John Clayton, aka Tarzan. Both stories were written by Robert P. Thompson with artwork by Jesse Marsh. They were edited by Alice Cobb. This issue shipped with an August, 1947 cover date and carries a cover price of .10 cents per copy.
