Description[]
This handheld scanning device was created by the mutant inventor known as Forge. It was developed and stored at his private Aerie in Eagle Plaza in Dallas, Texas. Its purpose is to to determine who is a baseline human and who is a mutant or an alien, or a hybrid of either. It can even distinguish between certain racial characteristics to determine if one is a Kree, a Dire Wraith, or a Skrull. [1] However, it is a small short-range scanner. Henry Peter Gyrich of the National Security Agency implemented a larger version of the scanner while hunting Rogue in Caldecott County, Mississippi. [2]
Notes[]
- Forge's scanner was created by writer Chris Claremont and artists John Romita, Jr. and Dan Green.
- In terms of functionality, Forge's scanner is similar to that of ROM's scanner.
