In the blooper reel featured on disc 2 of the Andromeda: Season 1 Collection DVD boxset, actor Kevin Sorbo goes through many scenes where he jokingly asks cast and crew members, "Have I showed you my Force lance". Part of the humor of the bit owes to the phallic nature of the weapon in question.
