Forager is a fictional alien adventurer and a recurring character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. She is associated with the New Gods line of titles and first appeared in The New Gods, Volume 3 #2 in March, 1989.
Biography[]
Forager was a member of the subrace known as Bugs from the planet New Genesis, which are offshoots of the New Gods. She succeeded the original Forager, who died during the "Cosmic Odyssey" event.
When the New God known as Lightray was killed, Forager took it upon herself to investigate. Her journey brought her to the planet Earth where she connected with Metropolis photographer Jimmy Olsen - a young man who had engaged in several experiences with the New Gods in the past. Their adventures brought them across the galaxy as they became entangled in the mystery of the ongoing "Death of the New Gods".
