The Flavour Station, or Flavor Station, is a fictional business featured on the AMC television series Preacher. It first appeared in the pilot episode of the show, and made several appearances throughout season one.
Description[]
The Flavour Station is a diner located in the town of Annville, Texas. It specializes in burgers and chili. Emily Woodrow worked there as a waitress whenever she wasn't playing the organ at All Saints Congregational. [1]
History[]
Preacher Jesse Custer discovered that he was blessed with the power to make others do his bidding, simply by vocalizing his desires to them. He eventually discovered that this power was called Genesis. Possessing the power of Genesis made Jesse Custer arrogant, and he used it to bolster the size of his congregation. This caused him to become something of a local celebrity and patrons of the diner would often approach him to ask him Bible-related questions. [2]
Jesse met with two angels named Fiore and DeBlanc at the Flavour Station, who explained to him that the power he commanded that the power of Genesis was the offspring of a demon and angel coupling. They wanted Jesse to surrender the power, but he refused to do so, telling them that God wanted him to have this power.
A seraphim angel named Susan appeared at the Flavour Station to sanction Fiore and DeBlanc's renegade actions. They fought with her in the parking lot outside, and killed her, but being an angel, she simply re-generated a new form and continued to pursue them. [3]
The methane reactor that powered Annville went critical, causing a massive explosion that wiped out the entire town, including the Flavour Station. [4]
