"Velocity 9" is the title to the twelfth issue from the second The Flash ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics. It was written by Mike Baron with artwork by Mike Collins and inks by Larry Mahlstedt. It was colored by Michele Wolfman and lettered by Steve Haynie. The story was edited by Barbara Kesel with Mike Gold as consulting editor. This issue includes Bonus Book #2, a sixteen-page story featuring Doctor Light called "Light at the End of the Tunnel". It was written by George Broderick, Jr. with artwork by Gordon Purcell and inks by Tim Dzon. It was colored by Glenn Whitmore and lettered by Dan McKinnon. Marv Wolfman served as a consulting editor in this story. This issue shipped with a May, 1988 cover date and carries a cover price of .75 per copy (US).
