Feline is an adjective, which describes having physical characteristics similar to that of a cat. This includes having fur, whiskers, paws, a tail and/or the ability to say "meow" (which admittedly, anyone can do, but cats seem to be the most fond of this). There are many alien races that have feline characteristics, such as the Thunderans from the ThunderCats multimedia franchise, the Lahsbees from the Star Wars Expanded Universe, the Caldorians from the Dreadstar comic series and many others.
