Diagnostic repair drone[]
Diagnostic repair drones, or DRDs, are small robotic tools that perform routine maintenance and repairs on Leviathan-class transport ships. When not needed, these drones remain inert in special housings behind the corridor walls of the ship. DRDs perform routine maintenance functions, effect minor repairs and basically execute any and all tasks that either Pilot or a crew member may be incapable of performing on their own. The actions of a DRD are usually governed by the ship's pilot, who maintains constant communication between the ship's living brain and it's mechanical control functions. DRDs also serve as support staff to a ship's crew, performing a variety of functions such as providing injections of translator microbes. There are many DRDs constructed and stationed aboard the Leviathan ship known as Moya. One DRD of note was put to use on another such vessel called Elack. Astronaut John Crichton taught the robot to whistle the 1812 Overture. John dubbed the DRD 1812 and painted the number upon it's side.
Docking web[]
A docking web is a component of a Leviathan ship. Located in the hangar of the ship, the docking web's function is similar to that of a tractor beam. Using electromagnetic radiation and antigravitic particles, it can draw objects such as ships into its hangar and keep them locked down.

Douglas Knox[]
Douglas Knox was a scientist and a member of the International Aeronautics and Space Administration. He was a childhood friend of fellow scientist John Crichton and graduated high school with him. In 1999, DK was part of the control crew behind Crichton's experimental flight aboard the Farscape-1 space module. John was suitably nervous about the mission, feeling that something "huge" was about to happen. DK monitored John's test flight and warned him about an approaching electromagnetic wave. He warned John to abort the mission, but it was too late. He lost contact with Farscape-1 when it entered the cloud and was pulled through a wormhole to a distant galaxy.
Dren[]
Dren is a verbal expletive used in the continuity of Farscape. It is generally used to express shock or anger or may refer to an unwanted substance or act. The closest Earth equivalent would be "crap" or other similar vulgarities, but for some reason the translator microbes used in the series cannot seem to determine an equivalent phrase in other languages. An example of usage would be, "I can't deal with this dren", or, "You are full of dren!"
