The New Fantastic Four is an American animated television series of the superhero fantasy genre. It is based on the Fantastic Four series of comic book titles created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby and published by Marvel Comics. This is the second animated series to feature the superhero group, the Fantastic Four, and the first of such series to be released in the 1970s. The program was produced by Marvel Productions and aired for a single season from September to December, 1978. The show featured a voice cast consisting of Mike Road as Mister Fantastic, Ginny Tyler as the Invisible Girl, Ted Cassidy as the Thing, and Frank Welker as H.E.R.B.I.E. the robot.
