Faltinians are a fictional humanoid race featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and are associated with the Doctor Strange family of comic book titles. They first appeared in Strange Tales, Volume 1 #126 in November, 1964.
Description[]
Faltinian refers to humanoid beings from the Dark Dimension. They are an offshoot of the Faltine, which are a race of magical energy beings composed of living flame. Faltinians are literally the Faltine given flesh. Representatives of the Faltine include the Dread Dormammu, his sister Umar and his niece Clea.
Biology[]
Biologically, Faltinians are indistinguishible from regular human beings. The only notable difference is that leaders of the Dark Dimension usually bear the Flames of Regency as a corona about their head.
