The Fahren-knife is a fictional weapon featured in comic books published by DC Comics. It is associated Jack Kirby's "Fourth World" mythos and first appeared in Mister Miracle #6 in February, 1972.
Description[]
The Fahren-knife was a specially designed blade. It was forged on Apokolips by DeSaad, supposedly made from the flesh of Darkseid himself. The knife had the ability to pierce not only flesh, but dimensional barriers as well, meting out a fatal injury to opponents across space and time by burning them up from the inside. Bernadeth of the Female Furies wielded this blade and threatened to use it to kill Highfather. When the Female Furies raided Section Zero under orders from Big Barda, Bernadeth held the blade beneath Kanto's chin to keep him from interfering.
