The Faceless Ones are a fictional race of creatures featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and are associated with the Sub-Mariner line of titles. They first appeared in shadow in the first story in Tales to Astonish #72 in October, 1965. They made their first full appearance the following month in Tales to Astonish #73 in a story titled "By Force of Arms!"
The Faceless Ones were a monstrous race that lived beneath the seas in a hidden territory in or near the sunken continent of Atlantis. When Krang had usurped the Atlantean throne, he had his chief scientist Zantor dispatch Lady Dorma to the land of the Faceless Ones.
