The Evil Dead is an American comic book limited series of the horror genre. It is based on the 1981 feature film The Evil Dead by Renaissance Pictures. It was published by Dark Horse Comics and ran for four issues from January-April, 2008
The series was written by Mark Verheiden with artwork, inks and coloring by John Bolton. Bolton also rendered the cover art illustrations for the series. Lettering was by Steve Dutro. The series was edited by Philip Ray Simon and Michael Carriglitto with Ryan Jorgensen as assistant editor.
