The Evil Dead is a trade paperback collection of the horror genre. It reprints all four issues of the Evil Dead comic book limited series published by Dark Horse Comics. It is based on the 1981 feature film The Evil Dead by Renaissance Pictures. The series was written by Mark Verheiden with artwork, inks and coloring by John Bolton. Bolton also rendered the cover art illustrations for the series. Lettering was by Steve Dutro. The series was edited by Philip Ray Simon and Michael Carriglitto with Ryan Jorgensen as assistant editor. This volume was released in October, 2008.
