Euros Lyn is a British television director from Wales who was born in 1971. He is best known for his work on the Doctor Who family of TV projects. His first work in the franchise was directed the second episode of season one of the 2005 Doctor Who revival series entitled "The End of the World". He also directed the following episode, "The Unquiet Dead". Euros directed four episodes from season two of the series, beginning with the second episode of the season, "Tooth and Claw". He then directed "The Girl in the Fireplace", "The Idiot's Lantern" and "Fear Her". Euros then went on to season three beginning with the season premiere episode, "The Runaway Bride", which introduced Donna Noble, played by Catherine Tate, an actress who would become a series regular with season four. Euros Lyn then went on to direct two episodes from season four, "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead", as well as the two-part holiday special "The End of Time", which bridged the gap between seasons four and five. In 2010, Euros co-directed episode two from season five, "The Beast Below", but was uncredited for his participation in this episode. The creduted director for the episode was Andrew Gunn.
In 2009, Euros Lyn worked on the Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood. He directed the five-part "Children of Earth" story-line, which aired nightly from July 6th to July 10th.
