Quotes[]
- Allison Blake: I still don't get it.
- Jack Carter: What's that?
- Allison Blake: Susan committing suicide... I mean I know it sounds callous. But I don't care how bad things are - once you have a kid, you don't get to just... check out.
- Jack Carter: Ah. My daughter, Zoe, said pretty much the same thing to me when I told her I was being transferred to Eureka.
- Allison Blake: Taking your life and taking a job are hardly the same thing.
- Jack Carter: In this town I'm not so sure.
....
- Douglas Fargo: Um, you-you might want to be careful with this - it's a portable generator.
- Jack Carter: So?
- Douglas Fargo: A fission-powered portable generator.
- Jack Carter: O-kay. Don't sleep on the nuclear-powered device, good safety test.
