Essential Man-Thing, Volume 2 is a black and white trade paperback collection published by Marvel Comics. It reprints issues #15-22 of the original Man-Thing ongoing comic book series, including the last three Giant-Size specials, as well as the entire eleven issue run of Man-Thing, Volume 2. It also reprints Man-Thing's appearances in issues of Doctor Strange, Marvel Team-Up, and Marvel Two-In-One. This collection shipped in August, 2008 and carries a cover price of $16.99 per copy (US).

- The character of Ted Sallis, aka the Man-Thing was created by writers Roy Thomas & Gerry Conway and artist Gray Morrow. He first appeared in the third story in Savage Tales #1 in May, 1971. Most of the early Man-Thing stories following his inaugural appearance were written by Steve Gerber.
