Eric Raleigh is a fictional zombie holocaust survivor and a recurring character featured on the AMC survival horror series The Walking Dead. Played by actor Jordan Woods-Robinson, he first appeared in the eleventh episode of season five, "The Distance".
Overview[]
Eric was a homosexual man in his mid-twenties from Alexandria, Virginia. Along with his lover, Aaron, he was a member of the community known as the Alexandria Safe-Zone. Eric had broken his ankle, but several members of Rick Grimes' group found him and Maggie Greene fashioned a splint for him. Eric was reunited with Aaron, who returned to a temporary haven inside of an abandoned building, along with several other members of Rick's group, including Rick himself.

- The character of Eric Raleigh was created by director Larysa Kondracki and writer Seth Hoffman based on concepts developed by Robert Kirkman.
- Eric Raleigh is exclusive to the continuity of The Walking Dead television series and has no counterpart in The Walking Dead comic book series by Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment.
- Eric Raleigh is the second openly gay male character to appear on The Walking Dead. The first being his lover, Aaron. He is the third homosexual character shown on the series if one includes Tara Chambler.
