Enhanced taste is a biological function which represents an accelerated sense of taste to a degree that is greater than that of the average human being. Truth be known, it's one of lamer super powers out there, but it does exist. Most characters who have fully developed superhuman senses possess the full battery of enhanced perceptions including vision, hearing, sense of smell and touch.
The Marvel Comics superhero Daredevil possesses this ability. It has been said that he could lick a pretzel and be able to deterine exactly how many grains of salt were on it. Consequently, were he to lick the back of a toad, he would be tripping for a month.
