Fun Facts[]

  • An Elysium is a concept found in Greek mythology. It is a realm of the afterlife reserved for Gods and heroes. Also known as the Elysian Fields, it exists in contrast to the realm of Hades, which represents the Underworld.
  • So apparently, there's another guy named Neill, who also directed a science fiction movie that begins with the letter "E". Neill Fearnley directed Escape from Mars in 1999. To add further coincidence, actor Michael Shanks appeared in that film as well.
