Elva was an immortal witch from the 17th century who operated out of Salem, Massachusetts. She was responsible for slaughtering Lila Thorsguard's virgin sisters, whom she stabbed to death as part of a ritual sacrifice to the Horned Prince, who promised her immortality.
Elva survived well into the modern era and was living in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the year 2017. Lila's soul had lived on as well and was housed within a ball-jointed living doll known as Dollface. When Lila first came to this new era, she immediately sensed Elva's presence and attacked her. Elva soundly defeated Lila however, shattering her various doll parts. Fortunately for Lila, her "creators" Emily and Ivan Rodriguez were able to forge a new body for her.
