Elliot Spinella is a fictional apiarist and a minor character featured in the NBC supernatural crime drama series Grimm. Played by actor Mike Prosser, he appeared in the third episode of season one titled, "BeeWare".
Biography[]
Elliot Spinella was a breed of wesen known as a Mellifer, which are a type of shape-shifting humanoid were-bees. He lived in Portland, Oregon where he worked as an apiarist. Elliot was an associate of another Mellifer named Melissa Wincroft, who had taken on a crusade of revenge against several Hexenbiest responsible for the destruction of her company. Spinella however, had no direct connection to Wincroft's actions.
Following the mysterious death of Serena Dunbrook, Portland detectives Nick Burkhardt and Hank Griffin visited Elliot's apiary. Spinella had an alibi in that he was attending a bee convention at a Howard Johnson's on the morning of Dunbrook's murder. His story checked out and the detectives left him alone.
Elliot Spinella later met up with Melissa Wincroft to tell her of his meeting with the detectives. He was nervous, and told her that he wanted nothing to do with whatever plot she was engaged in.
