Elasticity represents the pliability and physical flexibility of a substance, as well as it's ability to stretch. It is often seen as a super-power in superhero fantasy stories and is most commonly represented by characters such as Plastic Man and the Elongated Man from DC Comics, Mister Fantastic from Marvel Comics and Elasti-Girl from The Incredibles. Elasticity may also be considered a lesser form of shape-shifting.
