Edwin Jarvis is a fictional butler and a recurring supporting character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in the Captain America story from Tales of Suspense #59 in November, 1964.
Overview[]
Edwin Jarvis was the butler for the Stark family, originally hired by Howard Stark. When his son, Tony Stark, converted the Stark's New York home into the mansion headquarters for the Avengers, Jarvis continued his work, but was now in the service of one of the greatest superhero teams of all time.
