Edward "Eddie Cross, also known as "Skinhead", is a fictional minor antagonist featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the Spider-Man line of comic titles. He first appeared in Web of Spider-Man #56 in November, 1989.
Biography[]
Eddie Cross was of Jewish origin, and grew up in Queens. As a teenager, he became a Skinhead and led a hate-group that operated off the campus of Empire State University. He once terrorized Robert Farrell on the day that he enrolled at school, horrifying his parents and sister.
Abilities[]
- Transformation: Eddie Cross can transmogrify his body into an oozing mass of flesh, stretching approximately ten-feet in diameter. This transformation yields other abilities as well.
- Acid generation: Eddie's mass form exudes a corrosive substance that can eat away at biological matter within seconds.
- Adhesion: Eddie's ooze form can stick to various surfaces and he can maintain locomotion, shifting his mass along vertical surfaces regardless of friction.
