Eclipso is an American ongoing comic book series of the superhero fantasy genre, with more of an emphasis on the super-villain theme. It was published by DC Comics and ran from November, 1992 to April, 1994, spanning a total of eighteen issues. The series also includes two one-shot tie-in issues, which is part of the "Eclipso: The Darkness Within" crossover storyline, which preceded the series. The initial creative team on the series consisted of writer Robert Loren Fleming, plotter & artist Keith Giffen, artist Bart Sears, inkers Ray Kryssing & Mark Pennington, with coloring by Tom McCraw and lettering by Gaspar Saladino. The series was edited by K.C. Carlson & Michael Eury with Eddie Berganza as assistant editor. Audwynn Jermaine Newman was the artist and cover artist on the last eight issues of the series.

- The characters of Eclipso and Bruce Gordon were created by writer Bob Haney and artist Lee Elias. They first appeared in the second story from House of Secrets #61 in July, 1963 titled "Eclipso, the Genius Who Fought Himself".
