Earth Alliance hand links are fictional items featured in the American science fiction television series Babylon 5, which aired in syndication in the United States from 1994 to 1998. They first appeared in the series' premiere episode, "Midnight on the Firing Line".
Description[]
Hand links are communication devices used by members of the Earth Alliance and it's various branches. It is a thin, voice-operated pad that is molecularly bonded to the back of an individual's hand and allows them to transmit and receive message with any other user wearing a similar device.

In 2267, another version of the EA link was developed for crew membes stationed aboard Explorer-class ships. This device was a wrist gauntlet however and not a hand link, though they both served similar functions.
