Otto Drexel was a millionaire who lived in Gotham City in the 1940s. He was the owner of a valuable piece of jewelry known as the Cleopatra necklace. The criminal known as the Joker sought to murder Drexel and steal the necklace, but before he could break into Otto's penthouse suite, he was intercepted by Batman, who fought him off. (Batman 1)
