Jack Kennedy[]
Jack Kennedy was a man who was murdered by Bea Carroll. Clark Kent investigated the crime and exposed Bea's actions as Superman. Bea was sent to prison and presumably executed. (Superman 1)
James Gordon[]
James "Jim" Gordon was the police commissioner of Gotham City in the 1940s. He was a close confidante of Bruce Wayne, and often consulted with him on police matters, despite the fact that Wayne projected the image of being a bored playboy. Commissioner Gordon had no idea that Wayne was secretly the costumed crimefighter known as Batman.
Jay Wilde[]
John Kent[]
John Kent was the husband of Mary Kent. The Kents discovered the Kryptonian rocket containing the infant Kal-L and adopted him as their son. They gave him the human name Clark Kent. Both of the Kents died when Clark was still a young man, not long before adopting the costumed guise of Superman. (Superman 1)
Joker[]
The Joker was a thief and a murderer who operated in the area of Gotham City. He was distinguished from other such criminals by his bizarre appearance, which included green hair, pale white skin, rouge lips and a large, gaping smile.
The Joker's first major victim of note was a millionaire named Henry Claridge. He issued a radio broadcast declaring that he would murder Claridge at the stroke of midnight and steal his fabled prized diamond. The Gotham City Police Department gave him in-house protection, but as the clock struck midnight, Claridge fell over dead - a ghoulish grin etched across his face - the telltale sign of the Joker's infamous venom. (Batman 1)
