Earth-8311 is a fictional location featured in comics books published by Marvel Comics. It relates to the character of Peter Porker, aka Spider-Ham and first appeared in the Marvel Tails Starring Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham one-shot special published in November, 1983. It was also the primary setting of the Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham ongoing comic book series.
Description[]
Earth-8311 is an alternate reality populated by anthropomorphised talking animals. In many regards, it bears some similarities to the Earth-616 reality, but with the notable difference in that the Earth-8311 counterparts to Earth-616 beings had animalistic characteristics. Like Earth-616, Earth-8311 had a strong super-hero contingent, the most notable of which was Peter Porker, who by day was a photographer for the Daily Beagle, but in his off-hours was a vigilante known as Spider-Ham. Other costumed heroes of note from this reality included Captain Americat and Hulk Bunny.
