Earth-65 is a fictional location that serves as an alternate reality in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It was originally referenced in Excalibur #44 in November, 1991, but was officially introduced many years later in Edge of Spider-Verse #2 in November, 2014. The reality has since become known as the "Spider-Verse" and is also seen in the 2018 animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Gilles Weill was a long-haired hippie who wore the stripes of the Union Jack and called himself Brother Brit-Man. He became a member of the Captain Britain Corps.
Gwen Stacy of this reality is a costumed superhero who goes by the code name of Spider-Woman, or "Spider-Gwen". Gwen was a high school student who developed arachnid-like powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider, similar to how Peter Parker from the Earth-616 reality first gained the awesome gifts that enabled him to become Spider-Man.
